Hey Turner, How Do You Know They'll Print It?

''Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere'' - Martin Luther King Jr.

I have no jokes left, there is no time for that. Luckily for me (and for our company), I am the citizen of a constitutional republic. Within the justice system, that means that lawyers and judges must accept my right to proper representation and a fair trial. Even if I am the crook and liar that the First Judgment says I am, I still have those rights.

Barristers must promote and protect fearlessly and by all proper and lawful means their client's best interests and do so without due regard to their own interest or to any consequences for themselves or to any other person including fellow members of the legal profession. That is Rule 2.3 of the Barrister's Code of Conduct.

On June 27th 2019 the shareholders of our company vote to reject the 'settlement', giving us the opportunity to challenge it in court. Mr. Temple votes for the 'settlement' but he will come on board a few weeks later. He drives me crazy, we've had lots of rows. But he finds it difficult to cope with the pressure to which he's been subjected at the age of eighty. He is someone who has always volunteered to serve his community in various ways, someone who has kept many jobs in Athlone. It is a disgusting spectacle, to witness lawyers who contribute nothing to society argue over whether he is guilty of some ludicrous 'misconduct' as they target him for money.
