This is the letter of resignation of Cieran Temple from our company. I received it on May 19th 2020. These letters were obviously drafted by the same person, almost certainly a lawyer. The address (ex-Minister For Justice Paddy Cooney's old gaff) comes from the Companies Registration Office and is one which both men would know not to be mine. Over the past decade the Football Association of Ireland has taken, directly or indirectly, a most extraordinary series of actions in relation to three entities - Athlone Town Stadium Ltd. (a charitable purposes company with the task of protecting a stadium property for the people of Athlone), Athlone Town AFC Ltd. (the company name for the triumvirate or duumvirate of Michael O'Connor, John Hayden and David Dully) and Pre Season (a trans-national match-fixing, money laundering and investment firm). Chief among these actions has been its two or (if our one time legal team of McNelis/Masterson/Forde is to be believed) three attempts to take ownership of the property. I would argue that none of the FAI's actions have been to the benefit of our company and all of them have been to the benefit of the other two entities. As we await the Appeal Court's overdue judgment, maybe this is a good time to state the relevant facts. There is a comments section below, if anyone wishes to dispute (or add to) those facts.  2011: I buy the company which owns Athlone Town Stadium. It holds two charges: with Westmeath      County Council for €507,895 and with the Minister for Sport for €2,800,000.
